Who is Asha?
Asha works as a UX Designer in Atlanta, GA.
Her background in foreign language and nonprofit organizations had yielded the opportunity for her to emerge herself in Accessibilty for technology.
It was nearly two decades ago in which her love of tech emerged through video games on her Nintendo Gameboy, text messaging, along with designing customized AOL and Myspace websites for her friends.
A huge turning point happened towards the end of 2015 when she landed her first tech job with Google Education presenting the company’s newest virtual reality technology to schools nationwide: Google Cardboard. Once that happened, Asha realized that it wasn’t only pizza that was the way to her heart, it was also interacting with consumers through user experience design.

Asha enjoys a variety of physical activity, whether it be yoga, moderate weight lifting, running, and dance (she’s been a classically trained ballet, jazz, and tap dancer since the age of 5). She also adores any type of flower, The Lion King, and online window shopping.
In her free time, she freelances her web design skills to nonprofit organizations, or mentors junior UX Designers. Other times she frequents local farmers markets in the metropolitan Atlanta area.
Asha also enjoys collaborating with other artists, designers, and developers from all walks of life. If you live in the Atlanta area or would like to connect online, drop a line!
